Top-Rated Carpet Cleaning in Fairfield, CA
Deep extraction that pulls what regular vacuuming leaves behind. Pet odor, high-traffic lanes, ground-in soil, tile and grout. Same trucks, same crews, no subcontractors.
What we do
We clean carpet the way it needs to be cleaned, not the way that fits a 30-minute appointment slot. That means a UV inspection on pet jobs, a counter-rotating brush pass on matted high-traffic lanes, and hot-water extraction at high pressure with a truck-mount unit parked at your curb. The heat and the vacuum stay constant from the first room to the last. Surface dry in 2 to 4 hours, fully dry in 6 to 12.
Most residential calls fall into three categories. Routine maintenance cleans on a 6 to 12 month cadence (the lowest-cost, highest-value visit we do). Pet contamination cleans where urine has soaked through fiber into pad and subfloor. And one-time deep restorations for homes that have not had a professional clean in 4+ years and need everything reset.
We also handle tile and grout in the same visit if you have hard floors mixed with carpet. The truck-mount runs both wands.
Owner Charon Russell still personally runs jobs. Family-owned and operated out of Fairfield since 2013. No subcontractors.
Our process
We start with a walk-through. You point to the spots that bother you, we point to the spots you probably stopped noticing. Then we move furniture (within reason), pre-treat any heavily soiled areas with the right chemistry for the fiber type, and let it dwell.
Extraction is hot water at high pressure through a truck-mount, not a portable rental. The temperature, vacuum, and chemistry combination is what separates a 6-hour clean from a 90-minute one. We finish with high-velocity air movers on rush jobs or whenever humidity is high enough to slow drying.
Before we leave, we walk the home again with you. If something is not right, we fix it before we pack up. Same-day service is standard for Solano and Napa zips. Bay Area and east Contra Costa County we usually offer next-day.

Carpet Cleaning FAQs
How much does professional carpet cleaning cost in Fairfield?
Most Fairfield homes run $150 to $300 for whole-home carpet cleaning, averaging around $225 nationally. Per-room pricing is $25 to $75 and per-square-foot is $0.20 to $0.50. We start at $250 for the first 3 rooms in homes under 1,500 sq ft and quote a firm range on the call after a few questions — no upselling tricks once we are in the door.
How often should I get my carpets professionally cleaned?
Every 12 to 18 months for low-traffic adult households. Every 6 months if you have pets, kids, or anyone with allergies. Bay Area homes with HVAC running daily collect more airborne dust in carpet fibers than people realize — the gray ring around the vacuum that you cannot get out is fine dust, and only hot-water extraction lifts it.
Can you actually remove old pet urine smell?
When the contamination is in the carpet and pad, yes. We treat with enzyme pre-treatment to break down proteins (the part that causes the smell), extract with hot water at high pressure, and follow up with a UV check. If urine has soaked into the subfloor and been there for years, we are honest about what we can and cannot guarantee. Pet-stain treatments add $20 to $40 per affected room.
How long until I can walk on the carpet?
Surface dry in 2 to 4 hours, fully dry in 6 to 12 depending on humidity and air movement. Walking in clean socks after 2 hours is fine. Wait the full window before putting furniture back. Vallejo and waterfront-fog areas take longer; inland Vacaville and Dixon dry faster.
Do you move furniture?
We move couches, chairs, ottomans, and dining tables that two people can lift. We do not move beds with platforms, china cabinets, or anything bolted down. Tell us what you want moved when we quote so we plan the visit.
Steam cleaning vs dry cleaning — which is better?
For Bay Area residential carpet, hot-water extraction (often called steam cleaning) is better in 90 percent of cases. It reaches the pad, removes water-soluble soils, and rinses chemistry out completely. Dry cleaning uses chemical agents that leave residue, and that residue attracts soil faster — so the carpet looks clean for 6 weeks instead of 6 months. We only recommend dry methods on specific delicate or solvent-only materials.
Are the cleaning products safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use Green Seal certified and IICRC-approved chemistry on standard cleans. Pet-affected jobs use stronger enzyme treatments that are still non-toxic once dry. We rinse thoroughly so no residue is left behind, and the carpet is safe for kids and pets to walk on as soon as it is dry.
What is the difference between truck-mount and portable cleaning?
Truck-mount units (which we use) keep the water temperature constant around 200°F and the vacuum pressure steady from the first room to the last. Portable rentals lose heat after 10 minutes and have weaker extraction, so soil and water both get left behind. The difference is visible by the next morning — truck-mount carpet stays clean longer because more of the moisture and soil came back out.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Usually yes if you call in the morning. We dispatch from Fairfield across Solano, Napa, and the East Bay. Call or text (707) 816-7103 and we will tell you the soonest open window. Solano and Napa zips usually fit a same-day slot; East Bay we typically offer next-day.
What areas do you serve from your Fairfield shop?
Solano County (Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo, Suisun City, Benicia, Dixon, Cordelia, Green Valley), Napa (city of Napa, American Canyon), east Contra Costa (Concord, Antioch, Pittsburg). We dispatch from 4160 Suisun Valley Rd. Routes are scheduled by zip cluster so most stops are within 30 minutes of base.
What should I expect during a typical carpet cleaning visit?
1) Walk-through where you point out the spots that bother you. 2) Move furniture (within reason). 3) Pre-treat heavily soiled areas and let chemistry dwell. 4) Hot-water extraction with the truck-mount, room by room. 5) High-velocity air movers on rush jobs. 6) Final walk-through with you before we pack up. Most homes are 90 minutes to 2 hours. If something is not right when we are done, we fix it before we leave.
